The Lesser Known US Presidents

Each night for the past few months I've read about a different U.S. president. I'm doing my research from various factoid-type books that I have about them. I collect random books about historical figures too, so sometimes I even have their biography handy. I have read 7 full president biographies. The rest are evaluated by fact gathering.

Some of the lesser-known of the bunch interest me the most. I believe that certain ones were really bad for sometimes overlooked reasons, while others were underrated or even unfairly judged by historians! I've developed my own ranking of each based on criteria for leadership I put together. These criteria can also be applied to other historical leaders too. My list is looking pretty different from the Wikipedia ranks! For instance, I have Lincoln at 3 and FDR at 5. My top 3 may be odd to some, but I feel like they could be defended based on facts and some of my own opinions. Who are the top 3 and the bottom 3? Well, that's for another post!
