We probably do not need AI

I don't agree with the notion that AI is needed or that using it improves anything besides the velocity of output for your projects.

Only focusing on the velocity of output is not a meaningful measure of impact or success. It can also be a measure of commodity thinking and having no originality. When you have no originality, you are not doing anything besides servicing the machine. If that's your goal, you need bigger goals. You will not feel good about that being your life longer-term.

With higher velocity, you get more tries, but when you use AI for everything it starts being like eating at McDonald's for every meal. It will catch up with you and eventually everyone notices that you are not eating right. You are the person that eats fast food 7 days a week!

AI in the current format is worse than eating fast food. No one even knows what supplementing all of your thinking with it will do to your ability to make decisions. Your brain is a type of processor that loses power when it isn't used. It is better to use your brain, and if you do use AI, use it rarely or when time is of the essence. If you say "time is always essential to my work," you need to plan better.
